摘要

   中华民族素来就有礼仪之邦的美称,礼仪教育对于提高个人修养和稳定社会秩序都有重要作用。但当前我国的礼仪教育尚不完善,因此有必要重新梳理中国传统的和国外的礼仪教育资源,以期对我国当前礼仪教育有借鉴意义。

   

   本文在梳理礼仪和礼仪教育概念的基础上,将礼仪教育定义为“礼仪教育是使学生学会社会生活的文明规范,形成健全人格,是教学生如何尊重人,如何与他人相处,做一个讲文明、懂礼貌、有教养的人的教育活动。”对于中国传统礼仪教育资源的分析,本文以《礼记》、《童蒙须知》、《白鹿洞书院揭示》、《弟子职》四本中国传统儒家著作为文献分析的对象,通过对著作中关于礼仪教育内容和方法的分析,揭示中国传统礼仪教育的四个特点:礼仪教育与学生日常生活实践相结合、礼仪教育中渗透道德教育和情感教育、礼仪教育按照学生年龄和性别特点进行循序渐进地进行、礼仪教育以乐教辅之。对于外国的礼仪教育资源,本文筛选了英国、美国、日本和新加坡四国的礼仪教育进行分析,提炼出四国不同的礼仪教育特点:英国的礼仪教育集中体现在绅士教育的理论与实践中,美国的礼仪教育渗透在公民教育中,日本以道德教育为核心在课程中渗透礼仪教育,新加坡以法纪和规范约束为手段进行礼仪教育。

   

   我国当前的礼仪教育应借鉴传统的和外国的经验,发扬中华民族“仁”与“孝”的传统美德,根据学生的身心发展阶段特征施教,并将礼仪教育与生活实践结合起来。通过课程渗透道德和基本的礼仪,开展普及道德的社会性运动。礼仪教育与规范、法纪相结合,增强学生的权力意识和公民道德意识。

Resources and Inspiration of Propriety Education

Abstract

  The Chinese nation is well known as “a nation of etiquette”, and propriety education plays a significant role in improving self-cultivation and maintaining social stability. Currently, the propriety education in China is still incomplete, so it is a must to arrange the Chinese traditional propriety education resources and foreign propriety education resources that are expected to be used as reference for current propriety education in China.

  

  In this paper, the propriety education is defined as “an education event that enables students to learn civilized norms about social life and to form healthy personality, and that teaches the students how to give respect to others, how to get along with others, and how to be a civilized, mannered and educated man” on the basis of researching the concept of propriety and propriety education. For the analysis on the Chinese traditional propriety education resources, this paper takes four traditional books of Confucianism – The Book of Rites, What Children Should Know, BaiLuDong Academy Reveals, Pupils’ Rules and Principles, as the literature analysis objects, analyzes the education contents and methods of propriety education in the above four books, and reveals four features of the Chinese traditional propriety education resources: the propriety education is combined with daily life of the students, moral and emotional educations are introduced in the propriety education, the propriety education is conducted step by step according to the age and sex characteristics of the students, the propriety education is supported by music education. For foreign propriety education resources, the propriety educations of the United Kingdom, America, Japan and Singapore are analyzed, different propriety education features of the above four countries are drawn out: the propriety education of the United Kingdom emphasizes the theory and practice of gentleman education; the propriety education of America penetrates in citizenship education; the propriety education of Japan focuses on moral education but introduces propriety education in courses; and the propriety education of Singapore is conducted by means of constraints of law and discipline and norms.

  

  Currently, the propriety education in our country should use the experience of traditional China and foreign country for reference, develop Chinese nation's traditional virtues – “humanity” and “filial piety”, the teaching should according to students’ mind and body features in different growing stages, and combine the propriety education and living practices. Permeate the moral and basic propriety into the students’ mind by teaching, carry out societal movement to popularize moral. Combine the propriety education with norms, law and discipline, and enhance the consciousness of right and civil moral of students.
