1. How long have you known the applicant and in what capacity?
I have known this applicant for about eight years. I was his teacher when he was studying in Aviation Transport College of Shanghai University of Engineering Science from 1999 to 2003.
His academic credentials are really exceptional and impressed me a lot with his hard work and strong confidence. He has done a good job in every subject. He also demonstrated his analytical and creative ability through his active participation and organization of many school activities. His integrity and social skills have also helped him gained much love and respect from his fellow students.
4. Please comment on the applicant’s strengths and ability to complete a graduate business programme. Please also add any statements concerning his or her potential for leadership roles in the future.
The applicant is a positive person and smart guy. He has displayed great potentials for leadership roles in his performance in the school debate. He led his team to the final success with his wisdom. This has been verified by his achievements in his work through which he has gained a lot experience in business and becomes more mature towards both life and work. Most importantly, he is always willing to fill his knowledge gap by continuous learning. For example, he has enrolled Tongji University’s logistics management master program. I believe he will turn out another success in a graduate business progrmme.

1. How long have you known the applicant and in what capacity?
I got to know Liu Wei since 2001 when we first worked together for a logistics project. His professionalism and problem-solving abilities left a deep impression on me. He is meticulous and contributed a lot to the completion of the project. He has strong sense of humor and always brings laughter to us. He is a good communicator and joyful team player. We became partners afterwards.

He is studious and smart. Above all, he is able to grab the opportunity to learn new things. For example, he learned about warehouse construction carefully which he was not familiar with during our initial cooperation and became an expert in this area and gave us many valuable recommendations in the end. In the above mentioned project, he has demonstrated a great potential in leadership roles. He solved each adverse problem with tactics and led his team composed of seven co-workers to fulfill their work on time or ahead of schedule sometimes with good quality. He is now a leading manager of the new company. The company’s fast growth definitely serves as a good evidence of his leadership.
